SO WHY THIS WEBSITE?

2 Companies about to make a real difference...........

Well this site was created for no other reason than as a tribute to two companies who are out there in the world beginning to make a real difference. With the world in almost self destruct mode it is comforting to see some company’s want to take us in to a new era. The media is full of "sky rocketing fuel prices, rising electricity prices,  major transport problems, global warming', 'greenhouse emissions', 'pollution', 'slow communications with no real broadband'. REAL doom and gloom stuff if you ask me!!!

Update now in 2010 its time to look back and see what has happen over past few years - much has changed and nothing has changed. MDI have missed many deadlines and changed direction.

We refer to the joint venture of MDI and IndraNet Technologies to form IT MDI-Energy Ltd. The agreement was to start with a batch of Air Engines being produced in Australia followed 6 mths later by first AIR Cars. The AIR engines were to be used as a pilot scheme for Point-of-Use power generation. Well this never happened and the company is still waiting.

Then MDI changed direction and started to develop the AIR Pod this is a vehicle designed with Europe, its roads and driving conditions in mind. Not something that is likely to suit the roads of New Zealand, Australia or US. The certification of AIR Pod's seemed to take forever and there is no indication that the second batch have been delivered to Air France for trials. The first batch are definitely working for KLM.

IndraNet Technologies is now in the early stages of developing nGen Systems which also use compressed air and will enable “green” energy, more affordable than fossil fuel generated electricity… Network distributed power generation will form Intelligent Power Networks IPN with nGen Systems and IndraNet Frame Networks. Full Details in their current prospectus

A few years ago we came across a small New Zealand company looking at making a difference. The company’s name was IndraNet Technologies Ltd. They are looking to create a new broadband infrastructure based on a Mesh network. The more we read about what they are doing and how old legacy networks (telecoms) have become very outdated and do not cope with the worlds growing communication needs, it made sense. There is only so much you can do with copper and ADSL has reached its limits. Even the world governing body for Communications said the world is not ready to progress into "the future"  with the current state of communications and Mesh based products are the way forward......

We have now found out that
IndraNet Technologies Ltd. has the Australasian rights for the amazing MDI Air Car from France, a small privately owned company that has produced a fantastic world changing revolution – a car that runs on AIR. No pollution, no greenhouse gases, no fossil fuels. The air that comes out the exhaust is actually cleaner than the air that goes in - so it cleans the environment!

Now when we think of pictures we have seen of L.A. with the massive amounts of smog in the air it is amazing to think that in the future if they all drove these kinds of cars they would actually fix the pollution problem in their city.

Then there is power generation and blackouts on major scale that we see around the globe. Amazingly enough the air engine that powers the MDI Air Car can also be adapted to generate electricity. The units are small and can be installed in both homes and business, the interesting thing is the units (minders) that give us broadband are also used link the power generators into the power grid - this uses the technology of both MDI  and  IndraNet Technologies Ltd.

So all in all two very exciting company’s to keep an eye on. We can’t wait to get our hands on
(REAL) Wireless Meshed Broadband and a pollution free air car and much cheaper power bills.

In Australia  IndraNet Technologies and MDI have set up IT MDI-Energy Ltd to market their products in Australia, New Zealand and Pacific Islands, Dr Louis Arnoux and Guy Nègre head this new company.  It has been announced that their first manufacturing plants will be in Melbourne and are planning a more factories distributed throughout Australia and New Zealand.

They are putting together a comprehensive suite of interconnected technologies that are a huge step towards saving our planet, that are sustainable, have equity, offer zero emissions, renewable energy (solar & compressed air), based in local living economies, affordable and can be quickly implemented by forward thinking innovative companies and individuals with a vision for the future.  These include a radical new broadband solution and the air engines used as household power generators and this is only the beginning........................

We look forward to new industries & economies, to use the sun’s energy and produce energy & products without toxins and waste, and use less energy anyway, and rediscover ways to be happy that do not depend on stuff!

  • Industries & businesses will close, but new ones will open up.

  • Whole economies have to change.

  • Government systems will have to change.

This is the way of THE FUTURE for our planet to survive of in the Post Oil Era!
